Free arrangement

Quartet

A composition for four voices or instruments (e.g., String Quartet, Piano Quartet).

The Savvy Take

In a Piano Quartet (Piano + 3 strings), the piano is the bully. It is naturally louder than the strings. You must play with the lid down (usually) and treat your fortissimos as mezzo-fortes so you don’t bury your friends.
